Coprich v. Jones, [Ms. SC-2023-0675, June 21, 2024] __ So. 3d __ (Ala. 2024). The Court (Parker, C.J., and Shaw, Wise, Bryan, Sellers, Mendheim, Stewart, Mitchell, and Cook, JJ., concur) transfers to the Court of Civil Appeals Earnest Coprich’s appeal from the Montgomery Circuit Court’s order entered after a bench trial concerning whether a deed for Coprich’ residence should be set aside on the ground of fraud, undue influence, or Coprich’s alleged incompetence.

In a thorough unanimous decision, the Court holds “[d]espite this Court’s past treatment of such appeals, we now conclude that in cases in which the only requested relief is equitable and ‘the amount involved’ appears to be less than $50,000, the Court of Civil Appeals has ‘exclusive appellate jurisdiction.’” Ms. *12.
