Nationwide Mut. Ins. Co. v. Thomas, [Ms. 1101332, Aug. 24, 2012] __ So. 3d __ (Ala. 2012). The Court holds
that a coverage exclusion clause in an automobile liability insurance
policy applies to a person who uses his own car to deliver newspapers.
The clause provides that the coverage does not apply to use of any motor
vehicle to carry persons or property for a fee. However, under the facts
of the certified question the Court was answering, the newspaper carrier
had finished delivering newspapers before the accident in question, so
the Court held that the exclusion would not then apply.
