J&C Truck Driving School, Inc. v. Ingram, [Ms. 2130252, Oct. 24, 2014] __ So. 3d __ (Ala. Civ. App. 2014). If a
judgment debtor claims an exemption from garnishment, and the judgment
creditor contests the claim of exemption, the court must hold a hearing.
Even though J&C's contest to the claim of exemption did not request
a hearing, Rule 64(B), Ala. R. Civ. P. "requires ... that the trial
court 'must' schedule a hearing within seven calendar days."
Ms. pp. 7-8, paraphrasing Rule 64(B).
