LIONS CLUB 4TH ANNUAL 5K CHARITY RACE SPONSORED BY CUNNINGHAM BOUNDS

The attorneys and staff of Cunningham Bounds are pleased to sponsor and take part in the 4th Annual Lions Club “Tunnel Vision” 5K Charity Race. The event is scheduled to begin at 8:00 a.m. on May 2, 2015, and the public is invited to participate.

Starting at the intersection of Claiborne and Government Streets in downtown Mobile, the uniqueness of this event involves the race route. Participants have an exclusive opportunity to travel through Mobile’s Bankhead Tunnel on foot – which is never permitted otherwise. Once completing the half-mile through the tunnel, participants will continue on the Causeway past the USS Alabama Battleship, crossing the finish line at Ralph and Kacoo’s (formerly Lap’s).

All proceeds from the race will benefit the Mobile Lions Club and its programs for the blind and visually impaired. The Lions Club provides eye screenings and exams, as well as eye glasses for people in our community who are not able to pay for these services themselves.
