$5 Million Settlement Over Industrial Incident

Cunningham Bounds, LLC obtained a $5 million settlement for the surviving family members of a man who was crushed by two polyethylene pipes that weighed nearly one ton. These pipes were not loaded properly and rolled off of a flatbed trailer as a result. The lawsuit alleged that the victim died due to a failure to follow industry pipe-loading standards and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. This settlement was reached the morning prior to the beginning of a week-long trial.
