Glenn Garside

Glenn Garside

Director of Investigations

Prior to joining Cunningham Bounds, Glenn served the Mobile community for 20 years in law enforcement. During his tenure with the Mobile Police Department, he gained valuable experience working in special operations, homicide, narcotics and vice. Glenn held supervisory roles in the patrol, robbery, traffic safety, traffic homicide and homicide divisions. Over the course of his career in law enforcement, he received numerous awards and promotions and ultimately obtained the rank of Lieutenant.

Glenn has an Associate degree in Criminal Justice. He received certification through the University of Alabama as an Investigator for the State of Alabama. Glenn is also a P.O.S.T. Certified Instructor in both Death Investigations, and Interview and Interrogations. He also served as an instructor in Search and Seizure. Glenn currently instructs students in forensic evidence as part of a biomedical sciences program at a local high school.

Glenn is a member of the Inner Circle of Investigators and the National Association of Legal Investigators.

Keith Harvey

Keith Harvey obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of South Alabama where he also received an award for Scholastic Excellence in Criminal Justice. He served as a police officer for more than twenty years and received numerous awards while in law enforcement. As a police officer, Keith was assigned to the Patrol Division, the Traffic/Motor Unit, Traffic Accident Investigation Detail, Traffic Homicide Investigations, and DUI Enforcement Detail. In addition, he received hundreds of hours of training in Interviewing and Interrogating, Standardized D.U.I. Field Sobriety Testing, At Scene Traffic Accident Investigation, Traffic Homicide Investigation, and Traffic Accident Reconstruction. He was also a certified instructor in Accident Investigation, Report Writing, and Traffic Direction and Control.

Keith is a member of the International Network of Collision Reconstructionists and National Association of Legal Investigators.

Don Boykin

Don Boykin earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Faulkner University. Before joining the Cunningham Bounds team of investigators, he served as a police officer with the Mobile Police Department for more than 15 years. Don served as a patrol officer and then for almost 10 years as an investigator. He was presented with numerous awards for his outstanding investigative work while with the police department. Continually promoted, he attained the rank of Lieutenant, Homicide Unit Commander. Don is certified by the Alabama Department of Forensic Science and the Alabama Child Death Review System as an instructor. He is APOST certified as a Specialized Instructor in Death Investigations.

Don is a member of the National Association of Legal Investigators.

Joe Piggott

Joe Piggott joined Cunningham Bounds with a wealth of knowledge and experience after a 31-year career in law enforcement. As a Lieutenant with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), he served as Troop Commander of Highway Patrol’s Troop A comprised of eight counties in the Mobile, Evergreen, and Grove Hill posts. Prior to ALEA, Joe was an officer with the Mobile Police Department where he received numerous commendations and worked with the department’s Traffic Safety Unit. During his career, he served as a Traffic Homicide Investigator/Accident Reconstructionist, Special Operations Commander, Tactical Team operator, Public Information/Education Officer, RADAR/LIDAR Specialist, Honor Guard Commander, and motorcycle officer.

Joe is a decorated military veteran with over 36 years of meritorious service and serves as a Senior Enlisted Leader having achieved the rank of Chief Master Sergeant (E-9).

Joe is recognized as an expert witness in Mobile County’s Circuit Court. He also teaches and recertifies area law enforcement personnel annually on the operation of police traffic RADAR and LIDAR.
